Tugs - SMI handles a large number of these flexible vessels used for transportation. SMI has been prepared to handle the growing demand & volume with 2 slip ways, 2 slots air bag systems and graving docks. Our large production capacity allows for short turnaround time for repairs & modifications which are valued by our customers.
Container Ship - SMI handles container ships from 5,000 DWT to 30,000 DWT and services included dry dock, surfaces blasted & painted, steel renewal, valves and propulsion repair. Our regular customers include PT Meratus Line & PT SPIL.
Bulk Carrier - These ships are designed to carry loose cargo in bulk, discharged by grabs or by a suction pipes, loading via shooter or conveyor belts. SMI have docked up to 40.000 DWT class of bulk carrier and services in addition to repair work include close up survey for cargo hold & cargo gear testing. Customer who trusted us include PT Gurita Lintas Samudra, PT ISA Lines & PT Arpeni Pratama Ocean Lines.
Hopper Barges - These vessels work together with a dredger to maintain and deepen the shipping channels. SMI has 2 sets of Dredger & Hopper barges with propulsion & hydraulic systems and are maintained & repaired either in the dry dock or alongside the quay.

Bitumen Tanker - These type of vessels have special requirements because of the nature of the cargo. In addition to surface blasting & painting, steel renewal, valves and propulsion, SMI have experience with the special needs.
Pelangi Tirtamas -
- These vessel transport have continuous height adjustable decks spanning the entire lengths of the ship for mobile cargo. Loading & discharging are via ramps at the side or stern. Being close to Merak port that connects Java & Sumatra, SMI has a distinct advantage for the maintenance & repair of the RoRo vessels. Almost all these vessels in the vicinity uses SMI and SMI is proud to support this inter-island transportation.
